What do you get when you mix Guitar Hero with Geek-knowhow? Weezer! Frets on Fire!

Very similar Guitar Hero, Frets on Fire is a open source (free) game that runs on Windows/Mac OSX/Linux.

The coolest feature with Frets on Fire is that you can make your very own playable songs. .. no matter how eclectic your music tastes are. Feel free to create songs and play along with Willie Nelson’s greatest hits! From what I can tell creating a song isn’t too terribly hard, but it is a little time intensive.

After giving it a whirl, I thought it was almost as fun as the Guitar Hero series.
